There is a great choice of local walks, with many direct from the house. Indeed you could walk every day for a week and never need to use the car. The area also offers excellent mountain biking to suit all abilities and ages.

Finally for those little ones, and those not so little, there are many Beatrix Potter attractions in the area, where you can find out were ‘Peter Rabbit’ and friends grew up.
