For all bookings we require credit/debit card details to secure the booking. For direct bookings and those made via our website. Payment can be made on the day of departure by cash or credit/debit card. Extended stay guest (4 days +) may be required to pay on or prior to arrival. New Year Breaks, payment required 5 weeks prior to date of arrival.
Some bookings require non refundable payment, which will be detailed in your booking confirmation.
For bookings of more than one room, or for longer stays (4 days+) we reserve the right to request a non-refundable deposit or Full payment 21 days prior to arrival.
Special Offers and late deals require payment at the point of booking.
Bookings made via a 3rd party agent such as Booking.com will be charged in full 30 days prior to arrival or at the point of booking if made less than 30 day prior to arrival and is non refundable or transferable. This is due to the high rates of commission charged by theses agents and the marketing techniques they employ that result to high cancellation rates.
The price includes accommodation and breakfast. There are also complementary tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms. We accept payment by credit/debit cards, cash
As we are a small home owner run B&B, the guests areas of the house and the grounds are for the use of our guests only,
Guests are not allowed to bring any visitors onto our property.
Cancellation and Insurance
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract. If you need to cancel please contact us as soon as possible.
Unless otherwise stated on your booking confirmation.
Cancellations up to 21 days prior to the arrival date are without charge. For cancellations within 21 days of the arrival date, the total amount of the booking is chargeable. Your booking does not include any cancellation insurance.
For Bookings of more than one room, long stays (4 days +) or for special events i.e New Year Breaks, the cancellation and payment terms will be stated on the booking offer.
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund any monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
In order to process your booking we will need to collect certain personal details from you. These details will include your name and contact details and those of any other members of your party. They will also include credit/debit card or other payment details relating to your booking.
Any information you supply to us may be retained on a database and will be used for the purposes of administrative functions, contacting you about a booking or sending you information about us. Your details will not be passed on to any third party without your prior consent except in cases where we believe, in good faith, that we have a legal obligation to disclose such information.
Walker Ground Manor is registered with the iCO and is PCI compliant.
Your accommodation will be available to you from 4pm on your day of arrival. We do not offer check-in before 4pm. Please let us know if you are to arrive after 7pm as alternative Check-in arrangements may need to be arranged. You are most welcome to arrive earlier to park your car and a bag drop off can be made with prior arrangement. We do not offer any other services or facilities prior to 4pm.
Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10.30am on your day of departure. Your bill for your accommodation will be payable on departure, if not already paid. Should you wish to leave luggage for later collection please ensure this is agreed in advance.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care of our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause, to the accommodation and its contents. Please let us know of any instances as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice if the damage or breakage is significant. We may consider an additional charge up to £500.00 (dependent upon the damage and disruption caused) if you do not report the damage as soon as it occurs. Wilful damage will incur the full cost of replacement or repair. No liability will be accepted for any loss or damage to possessions, valuables or vehicles belonging to guests or others.
We will not tolerate any type of abusive, violent or unacceptable behaviour towards ourselves or any fellow guest. In the event of any type of incident you and the rest of your party, will be required to leave immediately and the booking terminated. The total amount of the booking will be chargeable.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to you or any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions.
